“ I would love to give this place five stars, but being hyper sensitive to poor customer service will often affect my ability to enjoy the food. The Yelp app said they were open until nine. We arrived at 7:47 and when we walked up to the counter she told us they closed in two minutes. I asked what time they close and she told me they close at 7:50... ten minutes early for cleaning. Turns out they close at eight, not at nine. She was not rude, or impolite... but we were rushed and being my first time there I would have loved to try some of their specialties like their ceviche tostadas. I skipped looking at the menu and just ordered tacos. We got three steak and three chicken. Their salsa bar is fire. They had six options for salsas. I picked the middle one which was the perfect amount of heat for me. Honesty some of the best street tacos I've had in a while. The steak and the chicken were well portioned and the meat was not dry at all. The place was clean what you'd expect from a quick taco place. Disappointed I can't give them five stars... their food certainly deserves it. ”

“ My husband had a Steak Burrito ($10). It was HUGE and loaded with meat. I had the Veggie Burrito ($9), and mine was also huge - and so good! The avocado salsa is delicious with the Veghie Burrito. The burritos do not come with anything extra (like tortilla chips), but they are so big that they are a meal all by themselves. They used all fresh cooked ingredients. The beans are whole pinto - no greasy or runny refried beans. The Mexican rice they used in the burrito was very tasty. They also had 6 flavors of Aqua Frescas. Just a heads up, they have a very limited menu , so it isn't like going to a normal dine-in Mexican restaurant We were the only English speaking customers that came in the whole time we were there. ”
“ I tried Tacos el Machin for the first time today. My mom ordered the al pastor taco plate and I ordered the asada taco plate. The tacos were served with optional chopped onions & carrots. There were a number of delicious green and red salsas to choose from for use at the table, along with purple pickled onions that were bright and tart. The beans and rice tasted homemade, the way I like them. Neither felt heavy or greasy. The tables were immaculately clean, the service was prompt, & the food was delicious! I highly recommend Tacos el Machin if you like real Mexican food served in a chill atmosphere. PS: the homemade horchata was tasty as well. ”
